Heartworks CPR Offers Life-Saving Training/Certifications for Businesses, Organizations and Families

Would you know what to do if your child suddenly started choking on a hot dog, small toy or other object?  What if your dog was choking?  Do you know the warning signs of a heart attack?  What about a stroke?  Does butter really work on burns?  These are just some of the questions Glenview-based Heartworks CPR will answer in one of their many area classes and seminars.

Included within the demonstration, Heartworks CPR co-founders Cindy Zaban - a licensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) instructor/trainer - and instructor Vicki Dank will teach appropriate first-aid responses in a variety of situations, including:

• How to control bleeding
• What to do when someone is choking
• The most effective ways to call and ready your location for 911 emergency assistance.

Heartworks CPR provides American Heart Association and Medic First Aid International training at their Glenview office or at your home, school or place of business.  

Heartworks CPR also provides CPR Certification for those professions requiring the accreditation, including health care providers, trainers, flight attendants, education professionals and child care workers.

Heartworks CPR conducts classes on basic life support, first aid, CPR, CPR Certification, Defibrillator Use, strokes, allergic reactions, insect bites, pet first aid and pet CPR.
